Another blue-haired girl

A new girl arrived today! She has been on my wish list for a while now and then I saw that a friend was selling her!

CAN CAN CAT!

Oh she is so beautiful, more so for real! Her hair is a gorgeous shade of blue, brighter than Asian Butterfly - French Navy. I love her cheeky outfit too. I am going to call her Chateau.

Dashing through the snow

Opal is wearing a fabulous hat made by Maidensuit. I bought it a couple of years ago and still like it a lot. I wish it would snow for Christmas here but that's very unlikely. Just hope it isn't grey.

Dressing up for Christmas

Puddle doesn't always wear hippy clothes. Sometimes she likes to dress up in her little black number. Waiting under the Christmas tree for ? These photos aren't the best as the light was too bright on her shiny, shiny face! But she looked so lovely sitting under this tree and I liked the colours of the baubles, especially the green one with her eyes.

Starling in red

Starling is getting ready for Christmas. I made this dress last year, added a red sparkly trim to make it look more festive.

Orangey goodness

Mango Geri (Simply Mango) and Jaycee Bournville (Simply Chocolate) - these two girls got me back into Blythe again back in 2010/11.

I used to collect Blythe then let a lot of them go, keeping just one which was my Rouge Noir called Robynn. I was still interested in Blythe though and enjoyed seeing pictures on Flickr etc. I nearly bought a Prima Dolly Violet when she came out - I do like unusual and different hair colours. Then I saw owner pictures of Simply Mango and thought her hair was such a lovely colour, a friend on Flickr decided to sell hers and I bought her. I remember she sat in the house for a couple of days before Marc noticed her!! A year later I had a hankering to add another Blythe and this SC was on ebay at a very good price. I found out afterwards that the FBL mold was not very popular and that most of these dolls (and her sister Simply Vanilla) got customised to within an inch of their lives. I'm rather glad that I still have a pure stock girl! These two are very special.
